Following debut singles ‘SURPLUS’ and the double A side ‘SNOOZE / THE ALMIGHTY ALAN SMITHEE BLUES’ we’re delighted to announce a new free DEMONSTRATION single featuring the tracks ‘ALAN SMITHEE’ and ‘SONIC’. We could throw accolades like confetti. Imagine Syd Barret fronting Television. The DAILY RECORD described them as “INTERPOL or THE CURE fronted by EDWYN COLLINS” while SONG BY TOAD said, “there is a woozy, damaged feel to the best of it… they have a lot of promise.”

KICK TO KILL release their latest single ‘DREAMS’ on Monday 4th August, available from itunes and all major digital. Pre-order on Bandcamp.

The band’s first singles, including ‘Black Kisses’ and ‘Avalanche’ were co-produced by Iain Cook, CHVRCHES, and have picked up strong support from press and radio, picking up comparisons to a series of artists including Depeche Mode, Joy Division, Jesus and Mary Chain and The Stooges. Radio play has included TOM ROBINSON, VIC GALLOWAY, JIM GELLATLY, ALLY MCCRAE.

Kick To Kill play the Loch Lomond Boat Party on Sat 12th July, and the New Glam Festival, Germany on 25th October.

THE DEADLINE SHAKES soundtrack new PEOPLE MAKE GLASGOW TV ADVERT

We are excited and honoured to announce that THE DEADLINE SHAKES provide the soundtrack for the new PEOPLE MAKE GLASGOW advert which airs on STV from today. The advert, which celebrates Glasgow, features a 30 second clip of the band’s debut single, ‘Sweeten the Deal’.

‘Sweeten the Deal’ is available now from itunes and all and all major digital stores.
